Getting there

Central and Roma Street stations put most of the CBD within a ten minute walk, and buses run through the city on Adelaide Street and the busway. CityCat ferries stop at Riverside, Howard Smith Wharves and North Quay, and the free CityHopper ferry runs along the city reach of the river. The Neville Bonner Bridge links Queen's Wharf to South Bank on foot.

Booking tip

Weekend parking in the city is expensive, so the train or ferry is the easier way in. Riverfront terraces catch the afternoon sun and wind, so ask for a shaded table in the warmer months.
